Cheap 1Hz Pulse Generator

I found this on a website, but i made this to and i forgot to take pictures so i will use pictures from the website i found it on: http://www.josepino.com/

This is a low cost project to generate 1hz pulses.

Components:

- An old clock
- 2 Diodes
- 1K resistor (so you can run it from 3-5 Volts instead of 1,5 Volts)

Preparations:

Take the clock and get the motor (the little black box) out.

Open the black box

It should look a bit like this:

Take evrything out

You can save the gears, we only need the little circuit board

Take of the coil and the metal thing that goes truh it

This is the schematic:

You don't have to use the 1K resistor if you just want to run it on 1,5 Volts

This is what it would pretty much look like:

This is a sample project:

There are probably a lot of typo's, sorry for that.

If you are into electronics go to this site: http://www.uchobby.com

I hope you like it!
